DSC_0960Trevor and Kathy left their lives back in Florida as a project manager for a construction company that built public schools, and she a teacher.  They met while pursuing their Bachelor’s Degrees in Business at the University of Florida in 2002, and got married in 2004.  They have two children: Luke, 6, and Emily, 5.  God began instilling a passion for helping others as they volunteered through their local church and went on their first mission trip together in 2010.  They knew from that first mission trip that this would not be just a once-a-year endeavor for them, but that one day God would call them to be a part of a greater plan.  In 2012, both Trevor and Kathy came to a crossroads with their careers, and they surrendered this part of their lives daily to God.  Through much prayer and guidance from the Holy Spirit, it became clear that God was calling them to the full-time missions field in the Dominican Republic.  At the time, they had no idea what the mission and purpose would be, though they were eager to be obedient to God.

  1. Kathy, I have no earthly idea how I stumbled upon you, somehow Pinterest-related because I think we have a mutual person we follow?? I’m not on Facebook or anything, so I’m a bit out of touch with Venice, FL. Long story short, your family is beautiful and I am so amazed at the work you and you are doing for God in the DR!! The strangest thing is I was just thinking about you not long ago, wondering where life had taken you. Here you are! Anyway, I would love to catch up with you. God has done mighty things in my life through Christ, too, and I would just love to know how you are. I don’t know how else to conact you other than this reply, but my email is jbailey0310@yahoo.com.

May the Lord bless you and keep you!
    Jessi (Baker) Bailey 🙂
